Lavender bunnies

We have about 200 lavender plants at Casa Debbio. They are absolutely covered with flowers.

I am starting to cut them off before pruning the plants so they don’t become too woody and straggly.

I am filling every available vase.

    • Me too. I have taken out last year’s and replaced it with the current crop.

  8. What fabulous little bunnies – I bet the house smells fabulous!! You could make lavender pillows too as the perfume helps with sleep!

  11. One of the first things I bought when I arrived here in NE Victoria was a lavender plant. They didn’t do too well in the Atherton Tablelands.

  12. The lavender bunnies are the stuff of happy hearts. pruning the lavender would not really seem like a chore would it.

    • Pruning lavender is great. My hands smells wonderful and I find it in my pockets.

  13. How cute are those bunnies!! Am in Ancona awaiting the birth of my granddaughter due anytime now. The weather is gorgeous now thank goodness.
